American Textile Co. has unveiled its sixth distribution center in McKeesport, Pa., near here, as it seeks to support the growth of its business in several directions.
The 98,000-square-foot facility will serve the manufacturer’s customers throughout the Northeast. Its opening comes on the heels of the recent addition of the Sealy and Tempur-Pedic brands to the product line, along with what American Textile called “rapid increases” in its e-commerce sales.
“Conversations around sleep are more prevalent today than ever before and the category continues to grow,” said Lance Ruttenberg, president and CEO. “Consumers are looking for new ways to foster a good night’s rest, and our products help them achieve it. Our e-commerce business is thriving from the increased demand and we’re expanding to meet those needs.”
